Silverthorne Road Local Safety Scheme
Silverthorne Road has a history of personal injury accidents and has been identified as a route on which vehicles frequently speed. The proximity of a local school also results in a higher concentration of vulnerable road users.
The proposals primarily include the introduction of traffic calming measures at strategically placed locations on Silverthorne Road and a cycle lane and advanced cycle stop line at its junction with Wandsworth Road.
