Our in-house team Grimebusters responds to flyposting and removes flyposters from across the borough. The neighbourhood housing offices deal with flyposter removal on estates.

Flyposting is the illegal placement of posters, stickers, boards and other advertisements on unauthorised sites, including walls and street furniture.

If you have been granted an entertainment licence, you must not carry out flyposting as part of the conditions associated with the licence.

Our service standards

  • Removal of flyposters in line with the law which requires the council to serve a notice period before removal.
  • Removal of flyposters within 28 working days of notification.
