Community Freshview is an off shoot of the successful monthly clean-up campaign Freshview. An award- winning scheme, Community Freshview sees residents join forces with the council to makeover their local areas.
Lambeth has a team of Environment Monitoring Officers dedicated to monitoring environmental issues within the borough.
Freshview is a major council initiative to make your local area and the borough cleaner, safer and greener by improving the quality of the environment. Community Freshview is its award-winning off-shoot led by residents.
Over the last few years we have placed over 700 new litter bins around the borough. In order to maximise the usefulness of our bins we aim to position them by bus stops, schools and in busy shopping areas such as markets or high streets.
Lambeth has one on-street public convenience and two universal super loos. We also run a Community Toilet Scheme throughout the borough where members of the public can use the toilet facilities of businesses without making a purchase.

We clean all public roads and footpaths, wash down pavements in the town centres and empty litter bins as part of our street cleaning service.
