Cycling and walking

Dr Bike in actionWalking and cycling can improve your health, save you money, and it is good for the environment too.

We have a range of cycling initiatives including free Dr Bike sessons, cycle training, and a number of cycle parking schemes.

We encourage schools to promote safe walking and cycling to school, and we can check if a path is a public right of way.

Lambeth is a great place to walk and cycle. For cyclists, there are lots of widened bus lanes, cycle superhighways, and recently resurfaced routes and roads. For walkers there are local walks, including our local history walks.
