Improvements to Thorparch Road and surrounding streets
Summary: We want to reduce road danger and improve the environment on Thorparch Road and adajcent streets. As a first step we are asking residents for their views to help us gauge local priorities and develop the project.

Proposed Car Club bays in Larkhall Ward
Summary: We are proposing to expand the number of Car Club bays in Lambeth and have identified 6 potential sites in Larkhall Ward. We are consulting residents to see if they support the proposed bays and if they would use them.

Proposed Electric Vehicle Charging Points
Summary: We would like to install 7 new electric vehicle charging points in Lambeth. This would allow residents without off- street parking to charge their electric vehicle. Electric vehicles use a rechargeable battery instead of petrol and are a greener alternative to cars and motorcycles.

Clapham Gateway consultation results
Summary: Last autumn we consulted Clapham Town residents on our proposals to improve the area between Clapham Common Station and Clapham Old Town. The consultation results will be available to view online from 12 March 2010.

Lower Marsh Regeneration Project
Summary: We want to improve the environment on Lower Marsh to make it more accessible and welcoming for pedestrians and shoppers. We are inviting residents and businesses to have their input into the draft designs for the project.

Cycle access and safety improvements
Summary: The Mayor of London and Transport for London are launching a cycle hire scheme in central London. We want to improve cycle access and safety in the areas around the docking stations in Lambeth and are consulting residents on our proposed changes.

South Circular -Brixton Q Control Parking Zone(CPZ) Consultation
Summary: Lambeth Council is having a second stage CPZ consultation in the Brixton Q area south of the existing zone in the South Circular.

South Circular - Lexton Gardens Control Parking Zone (CPZ) Consultation
Summary: Lambeth Council is having a second stage CPZ Consultation for only Lexton Gardens in the Thornton R area South Circular CPZ.

South Circular -Morrish and Sulina Road CPZ and Area Improvement
Summary: Lambeth Council are having a second stage CPZ consultation in Morrish and Sulina Road. The proposals also include a proposed 20mph zone and a gated closure preventing exit onto Brixton Hill. We are also proposing Car Club bays on Sulina Road.

Vauxhall Walk Local Safety Scheme
Summary: Lambeth Council is proposing traffic calming measures on Vauxhall Walk. This would include several sinusoidal humps and a raised crossing area.

Cedars Road Consultation
Summary: We are proposing for a new puffin crossing on Cedars Road to make it safer for local school children. We are also proposing to move the bus stop after the crossing so that it does not obstruct views of motorists approaching the crossing.

Elder Road Local Safety Scheme
Summary: Lambeth Council are proposing new waiting and loading restrictions, two new zebra crossings and traffic calming measures. The local safety proposals have been developed to lower vehicle speeds, reduce collisions and improve road safety on Elder Road.
