To apply for social housing in Lambeth (that is, council and housing association homes) you will need to join the housing register. Complete the self-assessment first to see if you qualify for the register.

We are not able to offer a home to most people who apply to us for housing. We receive over 3,000 new housing applications a year, and there are currently about 22,000 people already on the housing list. In 2015/16, we allocated 1,250 homes. Most people applying today will never be offered housing, and those that are will have to wait many years.
It will normally take at least three months for us to check your application and send you your bidding details. Your application priority is based on the date you submit your application, so you do not lose any priority as a result of this delay before you can start bidding.
