Lambeth treasures short listed for top architectural awards

Two Lambeth projects have been 'given the nod' by a prestigious national award scheme that recognises the best in planning, architecture and design. The Trinity Hospice and Clapham Manor primary school have been short listed in the 2010 Civic Trust Awards. They will receive either an award or commendation at a ceremony on Friday March 12.

Lambeth scheme helps householders save up to £300 on energy bills

If you own or rent a home in the private sector and want to cut your energy bills by up to £300 a year, then Lambeth Council could help. The Council in partnership with the Greater London Energy Efficiency Network (GLEEN) is carrying out a year long programme of home visits to help local residents reduce their fuel bills.
