The Upper Norwood Library is an independent library service which serves the five boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Bromley, Southwark and Lewisham.

It is funded by Lambeth and Croydon Councils, but is not part of either borough's library services. It has its own policies and procedures.

The agreement between Croydon and Lambeth ended earlier this year and Lambeth has taken over the running of the library until a new organisation can take over.

Upper Norwood Library has its own membership procedures and circulation system and is unable to accept Lambeth or Croydon library membership cards. Please also note that the library cannot accept (or renew) returned items that have been borrowed from Lambeth or Croydon libraries.
