SACRE Collective Worship Guidance
A Standing Advisory Council on Religious
Education (SACRE) has a legal responsibility to advise the LEA on issues
regarding collective worship. Members of SACRE regularly read Office for
Standards in Education (OFSTED) reports on Lambeth schools and it has become
apparent that collective worship is often an area where support may prove
helpful.
Members of Lambeth SACRE have produced this guidance in order to support
non-denominational schools as they seek to improve their delivery of collective
worship.
Lambeth SACRE's intention was to produce a simple useful document which
did not duplicate others but which gave helpful advice.
