SACRE Collective Worship Guidance

What if we feel that we cannot provide Collective Worship in accordance with the law?

If a school feels that the provision of collective worship within the broadest interpretation of the law is still not suitable for their particular context then the Headteacher needs to investigate whether it might be appropriate to ask the SACRE to grant a "Determination" in accordance with the law. (See Circular 1/94).

Schools who enquire will be sent the determination paperwork that explains the process and requirements for seeking a 'determination'.
