Safer Lambeth
These pages provide advice and information on personal safety, reporting crime and anti-social behaviour, hate crime, and community safety issues and initiatives in your local area, plus useful contact details.
We know that real men know the difference between rape and consensual sex. We know that real men know the difference between sexual assault and harmless fun. Yet in 2009/10 in Lambeth reports of over 192 rapes and over 252 reports of other sexual offences were made. Lambeth is a great place to socialise and enjoy yourself. With your help we want to continue to make it a safe place.
Nobody wants a night out to turn into a nightmare and we are working with our Safer Lambeth partners, Lambeth Police and NHS Lambeth to ensure people have a fun but safe time. There are a number of practical steps you can take to avoid putting yourself in a dangerous situation or to avoid becoming a victim of crime.
Anti-social behaviour offenders
You can now view the faces and details of people who have been caught with drugs or committed other anti-social behaviour offences in Lambeth on this website. The Council and Police are taking a tough stance on anti-social behaviour and in a particular on drug offenders to challenge the image of Brixton as an easy place to buy drugs.
