The Gaia Centre is a multi agency staffed advice centre for women who are experiencing domestic abuse in Lambeth. The Centre is run in partnership with a number of Lambeth based voluntary, statutory and private sector organisations. The service is free and staffed by only female members of staff.

There are a number of different agencies based at the centre that can provide specialist advice and information on issues such as housing, immigration, legal options, counselling, substance misuse and support for children and young people.

The advocates recognise and understand that the legal system can be complex and therefore provide a specialist IDVA service to help women navigate the Criminal Justice System.

The REACH Project is based in the Accident and Emergency Department and Minor Injuries Unit of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The project supports women and men in heterosexual, same sex and transgender relationships who are or have experienced abuse. The project work closely with services who are specialists in Female Genital Mutilation, Forced Marriage and Elder Abuse.

The Lambeth Sanctuary Scheme offers an alternative to homelessness for victims of Domestic Violence. The Scheme provides enhanced home security where the victim wishes to remain in their current home, and it is safe for them to do so.

A Sanctuary installation provides target hardening via both perimeter security and a "safe room". This can include door upgrades, door viewers, window grilles, door chains, new locks, community emergency alarm and fast Police response.

Support during and after installation is a priority, and the scheme works in partnership with Lambeth Domestic Violence Floating Support Service.

Solas Anois is an Irish and Traveller specialist refuge. The specialist knowledge of the Irish/Traveller culture enables the provision of a service sensitive to, and responsive to the individual needs of the Irish and Traveller women and children.

Solas Anois provides support to women and their children including individual support planning, legal advice and housing support.

There are two specialist substance misuse workers who can offer support to women and their children where required. Children's workers are available on site and provide crèche services from Monday to Friday.
