Lambeth Economic Development Strategy 2007-10
Lambeth Economic Development Strategy has three aims for supporting the local economy. One of these aims is supporting business and enterprise in the borough. Go to the Lambeth Economic Development Strategy page to view the strategy.
Each year the Lambeth Enterprise Board develops an action plan to support the delivery of the enterprise objectives in the Economic Development Strategy. We advise employers on safeguarding the health and safety of their employees, and we also investigate workplace accidents, investigate complaints about safety in the workplace and carry out inspections of business premises.
This year we carried out a survey of 338 businesses from across the borough with a further 16 in-depth interviews. The results will help the council decide the best ways to support local businesses.
