Larkhall Park development
Lambeth council is to work with development partner to deliver a resident led development of around 100 units, 50% affordable.
On the periphery of Larkhall Park, fronting Courland Grove, are three council-owned sites, all originally earmarked for disposal. However lobbying from residents and the Friends of Larkhill Park, supported by local ward councillors, has led to a proposal to develop the sites as one project, facing the Park.
The development offers significant environmental, social and economic opportunities for the local community. The environment of Courland Grove will be transformed and its relationship with Larkhall Park can be strengthened. The development will bring new social housing to the area, improved commercial space and direct investment into the park.
The development will also provide income to the council.
