'Waterloo Works!' An affordable workspace and community enterprise hub, supporting the creative and digital industries in the heart of Waterloo.

Status:
In development
Cost:
Circa £780,000
Area:
Waterloo
Initiative:
Jobs

‘Waterloo Works!’ will repurpose 30 Wootton Street on a temporary basis to support business, provide opportunities to local residents and bring better jobs to the area.

Refurbishment and extension of the disused Council building will provide much needed office and affordable workspace for start-ups and small or medium sized creative and digital businesses.

The site will also provide a new community and events space, enabling the delivery of an enterprise support programme, both of which will be accessible to local and Lambeth residents.

Waterloo Works is being supported by the Mayor of London’s Good Growth Fund and Alma-nac architects are a project partner.

Location

30 Wootton Street, SE1 8LX, located just north of The Cut and immediately south of Waterloo East Station
