Next Steps

We will send copies of an application for a safety certificate to the Metropolitan Police, the London Fire Brigade, and the council's Building Control officers. Each of these bodies must be consulted about the terms and conditions to be included in a certificate. We will also consult these bodies about any proposed amendment, replacement or transfer applications.

We will also consider whether the applicant is in a position to prevent any breach of the terms and conditions of a certificate.
