What are your priorities for your streets, open spaces and places?

When Lambeth Council gives planning permission for new developments, developers provide the Council with payments to fund local improvements.

Since 2010 the Government has cut the money it gives us by 56%. This is the biggest financial challenge Lambeth has ever faced. At a time when resources are scarce, it's vital the Council invests these resources wisely.

Your Views

We asked local people to tell us their priorities for investing developers contributions in Gipsy Hill, Knight's Hill and Thurlow Park wards. Online and street surveys and meetings ran from November 2016 to February 2017.

You can view the findings here.

The views from the recent Commonplace masterplan engagement and the StreetWorks workshops have been included in this report.

Next Steps

The Council is currently reviewing these findings with local ward Councillors and priorities for investment will be published in a Cooperative Local Investment Plan (or CLIP for short) later in 2017. The CLIP will be used by the Council to inform investment decisions in the Norwood CLIP area (Gipsy Hill, Knight's Hill and Thurlow Park wards) for the next five years.
