We want your views on amending the number of Reception places in some of Lambeth’s primary schools from September 2020 following changes to the local resident population. The consultation runs from 15 November To 13 December 2019. Have your say now.

The Local Authority is proposing to decrease the Published Admission Number (PAN) for the academic year 2020/21 from the current PAN to a new PAN for 2020/21 onwards, due to falling population across the borough and London.

This would apply to each Reception intake from 2020 onwards and not to children already in the schools.

Please see the letter of notice for the details of which schools have agreed to reduce the number of Reception places. You can view the individual primary schools letter of notice below who have all agreed that long term value for money will be achieved by ensuring that they are the right size to reflect local demand.

How to respond

Your views on this proposal are important to us and will be presented to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator (OSA) for approval. Lambeth Council want to hear the views of everyone who feels they might be affected by this proposed reduction to the Published Admission Number.
