Purpose / Background

School Streets create pedestrian and cycle zones in streets around schools during drop-off and pick-up times. 

The scheme aims to:

  • reduce road danger at the school gates
  • tackle congestion
  • improve air quality
  • increase active travel to school

This phase will include School Streets in three schools:

St Helen's RC School  - 6A Knowle Cl, London SW9 0TQ

St Andrew's CE School - Kay Rd, London SW9 9DE

Macaulay School - Victoria Rise, London, SW4 0NU
