Transport for London (TfL) are seeking your views on their proposals to substantially upgrade the capacity of Bank station from 2016. This would provide more space to get on and off Northern line trains, quicker interchange, and improved accessibility.

In summer 2014 TfL will be applying for a Transport and Works Act Order, which if granted will give them permission to do the work. Before this, they are holding a final public consultation. Feedback from this will add to what has been learnt from previous consultations.

Since TfL's last consultation in October 2013 further plans have been developed, and they would like your views on:

  • how the scheme is built, including construction logistics
  • construction effects, including management of any noise, vibration and ground settlement
  • impacts of a 17 week closure of the Northern line City branch in Spring 2020 as they connect new to existing infrastructure

The consultation will run from 2 June until 6 July 2014.

TfL will also be holding a public exhibition on 12 and 13 June from 11am to 6pm at St Mary Abchurch, Abchurch Lane EC4N 7BA (off Cannon St and King William St ).

How to respond

This consultation ended on Sunday 6 July 2014 and is now closed for responses.
