Listed below are the ways to pay in order of the cost to us - with the least expensive first.
You can help us by choosing the least expensive option that suits you. Please pay by Direct Debit if you can.
Pay by Direct Debit
You’re also protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, which promises that you’ll get your money back straight away if anything goes wrong.
This guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that take part in the Direct Debit Scheme.
You'll need your Council Tax reference number - you can find this on your bill.
Pay by phone
This automated service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Pay in person
Due to coronavirus, our kiosks and the cash office at the Civic Centre are closed.
In addition to option to pay by phone or online above, you can also pay at any bank, Post Office or PayPoint outlet, many of these are found in local shops which are still open.
You must bring your payment slips or bill with you.
If paying at a Post Office you will have to pay their standard charge and banks may also charge. You can find your nearest Post Office branch on the Post Office website.
PayPoint outlets take cash payment only but the service is free.

Send us a cheque or postal order made payable to 'London Borough of Lambeth'. Write your account number of the back and enclose a payment slip.
