Lambeth residents are invited to get food waste savvy this Halloween!

Visit us to learn some tricks on how to squash your food waste and stir up some Halloween treats that won’t rot your teeth.
There’ll be cooking demos, delicious recipes for you to try at home and creative workshops to have some fun with food.
Get ready to roast your pumpkin seeds and turn your spooky lantern leftovers into a winter warming curry!

To help reduce food waste and promote food recycling, Veolia, in partnership with Lambeth and Southwark councils, is hosting a healthy Halloween pop-up cookery event on Sunday 20 October at Herne Hill Market, from 10am to 4pm.
The event is in support of the London-wide Small Change Big Difference campaign, which promotes sustainable food behaviours and healthy eating.
