Shared Reading groups bring people together through great literature to talk, laugh and share. Just drop in, grab a cuppa and enjoy listening to a story or poem – no pressure to talk or read.

A book club for adults. We read the best new fiction, classics, and occasionally dip into genres like Sci-Fi and Crime. We select one title and get together on the forth Thursday each month to talk about what we thought of it.

LHS members’ shop has a huge range of garden and horticultural supplies, bedding plants in the Spring and bulbs in Spring and Autumn plus top quality seeds, tools and equipment, compost, horticultural sand, grit and gravel, and floral art material

Come along for our informal class, learn and make friends every Saturday. Free to attend and just come along to the library.

Chatterbooks is a reading group with a difference. Each month we talk about what we've been reading, play games and do lots of activities all around the wonderful world of books. This is aimed to target 7-11yr olds.
