We are a bilingual setting, here at We Care Child Care Ltd we stand by our equal opportunities and inclusion policy of aiming to teach children from any background and or composition a foreign language.

As well as supporting the learning and development of each child, we also support them with communication skills as well as language and literacy skills in English. We will also aim to support the child’s own home language if necessary and viable.

We Care Child Care Ltd firmly believes that the rich, positively affirming and stimulating environment of the foundation stage implemented in our preschool is an ideal place to begin early language learning.

There is growing evidence to suggest that a child's ability to learn a second language is highest between the ages of 0 and 6. During those early years of development, children's brains are most receptive to identifying and discriminating between sounds. At this age are naturally curious and highly motivated to learn, they are also less self-conscious than in later years.

We Care Child Care offers early years enhanced provision

Enhanced provision is additional resources the local authority has put into an early years nursery to support children whose needs cannot be met solely from within the nurseries resources. The provisions are for children with significant social and communication needs (either diagnosed with Autism or awaiting an autism assessment, complex developmental needs, or a combination of both). Your child will have to be accessing 3 or more specialist services and be known to the Early Years Alliance Team and aged between two and five years to be able to access the enhanced provision.

As of September 2016 Lambeth has 8 Enhanced early years nurseries that offer up to 4 places per nursery for children with significant needs.
