Adoption Week 2018

local offer logo To celebrate Adoption Week (15 to 22 October 2018) we're inviting anyone who is considering adoption to find out more at a series of informal events.

Some of our adopters will be on hand to describe their own experiences, giving you a chance to get your questions answered by them and our friendly adoption team.

The events will take place at Lambeth Town Hall on:

  • Tuesday, 16 October from 6pm to 8pm
  • Thursday, 18 October from 2pm to 4pm

Refreshments will be provided.

So if you've ever thought about adopting, come and join us at one of these events.

We look forward to seeing you!

Our adoption service is a professional and friendly team and welcomes adopters from all backgrounds regardless of marital status, ethnicity, disability, age, sex, faith, sexual orientation or gender identity.

There’s no upper age limit and you don’t have to live in Lambeth to adopt with us. You just have to be over 21, have permanent residency and have a spare room suitable for a child (which can be rented or owned).

We urgently need adopters for all kinds of children, including babies, young children, and brother and sister groups.

If you can't make either of the events, why not watch videos of some of our adopters online or contact the team on 020 7926 8710 or adoptionduty@lambeth.gov.uk.
