Landlord accreditation sets out to reward and provide incentives for landlords who manage properties to a good standard, and who demonstrate respect and responsibility towards their tenants. Anyone who is a ‘good’ landlord can become accredited.

Registering is just the start of the accreditation process.
To become accredited, a landlord or someone considering becoming a landlord must:
- Complete a one day development course
- Agree to comply with the UKLAP Code of Conduct.
- Be a Fit and Proper Person.
