The London Youth Games are an annual regional sports competition in which young people from across all 33 London boroughs compete against each other in more than 30 different sports in over 50 competitions.

The games are open to all young people aged between 9 and 18 years old who either live or attend a school in Lambeth. The competitions take place at a variety of locations across London during a six week period beginning in May, culminating in a 'finals' weekend held at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in July.

This programme of events also includes six sports for those with disabilities and additional needs.

4. Preparation for the 2015 London Youth Games

Lambeth is in the process of recruiting young people and team managers for this year's competition. Selection for teams is done in a number of ways: through open trials, winners of inter-borough school tournaments, individual achievements or membership of a club team.
