Free writing workshop (16 to 18 yrs) with Sheffield Libraries Writer-in-Residence Nik Perring.

Nik shows you how to shape your brilliant ideas, put your hopes, worries, and dreams into poetry and prose and to celebrate queer stories in any way you choose. There’s also a chance to win £50 in a  writing competition in March.

Writing Competition for People aged 13 to 18: 1 March – 31 March 2021

We’re looking for short stories On a Queer Theme. Email your 500 to 1000 words to libraries@sheffield.gov.uk before midnight 31 March 2021. You must be aged 13 to 18 when the competition closes. The winner selected by a LGBTQ+ writer wins £50 of book tokens.
