Have your say on three important consultations and help shape the future of Lambeth.

We’re currently consulting on three related documents that will help shape development, transport and infrastructure in Lambeth.

You can take part in all three consultations or just the one that interests you the most. Comments can be made from 22 October to 17 December 2018.

Lambeth Local Plan Review – Draft Revised Lambeth Local Plan

The current Lambeth Local Plan was adopted in 2015 and contains a strong vision for the development of the borough.

Much of the current Local Plan is up to date but a partial review is underway to respond to changes to national planning law and policy, a full review of the London Plan and changes in Lambeth.

Consultation on the Draft Revised Lambeth Local Plan is your opportunity to have your say on proposed new and amended policies and proposed changes to the policies map. Once adopted, the Revised Lambeth Local Plan will shape development in the borough for the next 15 years.

Draft Lambeth Transport Strategy

The draft Lambeth Transport Strategy and Local Implementation Plan (LIP) sets out the our vision for mobility in the borough over the next 20 years and will shape the way the borough’s transport network develops.

They include a proposed healthy routes network to create better conditions for neighbourhood walking and cycling trips and the LIP contains a three year costed delivery plan.

Preliminary draft Community Infrastructure Charging Schedule

The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a charge on new development that helps fund new infrastructure.

We adopted our current CIL rates in October 2014. These rates are now being reviewed and the preliminary draft CIL Charging Schedule is the first step in the process of updating our CIL rates in order to fund infrastructure that will support growth in the borough.
