Real Christmas tree collections
As usual, we'll be collecting real Christmas trees for free.
Christmas trees can be put out for collection throughout January, starting from 2 January 2020.
Please leave your tree next to your rubbish and recycling bins on your collection day.
Trees take up a lot of space so we can only collect a limited number each day. If your tree isn't collected, please take it back in and leave it next to your bins again the following week.
Alternatively, you can take your tree to one of the following sites between 2 and 13 January - please follow on-site signage:
- Streatham Common, rear of Upper Common car park, SW16
- Clapham Common, Windmill Drive, SW4
- Lambeth Re-use and Recycling Centre, Vale Street, SE27 (Open year-round, closed Tuesday and Wednesday)
Please don't leave Christmas trees in pots and remember to remove any decorations as they can't be recycled.
Please only place real trees out for collection.
