Apply online and on time!
We strongly advise you to apply online. Online applications can be made from 1 September 2017 via the online application portal below. Applying online is:
- free, easy and secure
- it uses a quick, easy to use step-by-step format
- your application won’t get lost in the post
- drop down school lists help reduce errors and save you time
- you can attach copies of any medical or social paperwork you wish to be considered. Just submit the application first then click on the ‘attach document’ button
- this online system is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day until 30 June 2018.

If you can't apply online
There will be a very limited amount of paper forms for applying for a primary school place but these are only families who cannot access the internet. You can collect a paper form from Lambeth Customer Service Centre, Brixton from 1 September 2017.
To send us your completed form:
- hand it in at Lambeth Customer Service Centre, Olive Morris House, Brixton. Please note from 11 December 2017 the Customer Service Centre will operate an appointment system for school admissions. Unfortunately at present customers are unable book an appointment in advance except by going to the Centre. Appointments will be required for staff to check items handed in and will last approximately 10 minutes. Most appointments will be available for the same day or the following day.

Proof of address
You must upload the correct proof of address documents to your online application, or take them to the Lambeth Customer Service Centre by the deadline of Monday 15 January 2018 otherwise your child’s application may be withdrawn and no offer made at a school. Please refer to the required documents list to ensure you provide what is needed.
Supplementary Information Forms (SIFs)
Some schools ask you to complete a SIF to provide extra information when you apply for a place. You must ensure that you complete these forms where needed and return them to the school by their deadline for the admissions criteria to be looked at fully. Check pages 18 to 23 as well as the criteria pages in in the Starting primary school in Lambeth 2018/19 booklet to see which schools ask for these, and their deadlines.

If your child's Common Application Form is submitted after 15 January 2018, you still must complete any SIFs for the schools that require them to ensure that your child's details can be considered fully in accordance with the school's admissions criteria.
National Offer Day - 16 April 2018
If you applied online before the deadline, you will be sent the official outcome of your child's CAF electronically on 16 April 2018. If you applied on time using a paper CAF an outcome letter will be posted first class on 16 April 2018.
If you applied after 15 January 2018 your application will be processed after 16 April 2018 and an outcome letter sent in due course afterwards. There are no set timescales for outcome letters to be sent.
Moving house or change of details
The Lambeth School Admissions Team will consider your application using the details you provide on your form.
If you move address you must tell the School Admissions Team of your new address so we are able to contact you if we need more information or to tell you the result of your application. To inform the Team of the new address please complete the Lambeth School Admissions change of address form. Also you will need to provide new proof of address documentation for you and your child.
This also applies if you have a change of medical circumstances or a sibling starts at a preferred school. Please note that changes to preferences after the deadline for on time applications are not permitted.
