Secondary National Offer Day - 1 March 2018
If you applied for your child's secondary school place before the deadline of 31 October online, you will receive an email after 5pm on 1 March with the outcome. Alternatively you can log in to the eadmissions portal below to access the outcome. Please read the details given, and accept the offer by 15 March 2018 to secure it. Only if you applied using a paper Common Application Form will an outcome letter be posted first class to you on 1 March with a reply form to be returned by the same date.
We strongly recommend that you accept the offer your child has been made by Thursday 15 March 2018. For further advice about the secondary transfer 2018/19 admissions process and what to do about the outcome of your application please see one of the following question and answer sheets:

Most of the advice given by the School Admissions Team is stated in the details contained in the above information sheets. Please note that that details of waiting list places will not be available immediately, as lists need to be reordered which may take a week or so to include late applications etc.
If you wish to apply for more schools and applied online for your child's original application, you will need to use a Lambeth paper Common Application Form as only one online application can be submitted.
If you applied after 31 October 2017 your application will be processed after 1 March 2018 and an outcome letter sent in due course afterwards. There are no set timescales for outcome letters to be sent.
Not applied yet?
The deadline for on time applications has passed - 31 October 2017. If you have not applied already, you still need to do so online for your child to start secondary school in September 2018. This form will be counted as a late application and will be processed after 1 March 2018.
If you live in a different borough to Lambeth, please view your home borough's school admissions information, even if you are applying for a Lambeth school.
If your child has a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) the application form via this page will not be valid. Proof of address
You must upload the correct proof of address documents to your online application, or take them to the Brixton Customer Service Centre otherwise your child’s application may be withdrawn and no offer made at a school. Please refer to the required documents list to ensure you provide what is needed.
Supplementary Information Forms (SIFs)
Some schools ask you to complete a SIF to provide extra information when you apply for a place. You must ensure that you complete these forms where needed and return them to the school by their deadline for the admissions criteria to be looked at fully.
Check pages 20 and 21 as well as the 'how to apply' section in the schools pages in the Secondary Schools in Lambeth 2018/19 booklet to see which schools ask for these, and their deadlines.

If your child's Common Application Form is submitted after 31 October 2017, you still must complete any SIFs for the schools that require them to ensure that your child's details can be considered fully in accordance with the school's admissions criteria.
Some schools require children to sit a test. These are used for banding, to ensure children of all abilities are considered. It is important that you child sits these tests where used otherwise your child may miss out on a place at preferred school. In addition to this some schools have bursary auditions.

The date for the test used by some Lambeth schools is Saturday 11 November 2017. Your child will be invited to sit the test once a SIF has been received on time by the relevant school.
Moving house or change of details
The Lambeth School Admissions Team will consider your application using the details you provide on your form.
If you move address you must tell the School Admissions Team of your new address so we are able to contact you if we need more information or to tell you the result of your application. To inform the Team of the new address please complete the Lambeth School Admissions change of address form. Also you will need to provide new proof of address documentation for you and your child.
This also applies if you have a change of medical circumstances or a sibling starts at a preferred school. Please note that changes to preferences after the deadline for on time applications are not permitted.
