Junior National Offer Day - 16 April 2018

If you applied for your child's junior school place before the deadline of 15 January 2018 online, you will receive an email after 5pm on 16 April with the outcome. Alternatively you can log in to the eadmissions portal below to access the outcome. Please read the details given, and accept the offer by 30 April 2018 to secure it. Only if you applied using a paper Common Application Form will an outcome letter be posted first class to you on 16 April with a reply form to be returned by the same date.

It is vital that you respond to the offer the offer your child has been made by Monday 30 April 2018. If you are unsure how to do this online, please see our instructions for accepting your child's offer.

Most of the advice given by the School Admissions Team is stated in the details contained in the above information sheets. Please note that that details of waiting list places will not be available immediately, as lists need to be reordered which may take a week or so to include late applications etc.

If you wish to apply for more schools and applied online for your child's original application, you will need to use a Lambeth paper Common Application Form as only one online application can be submitted.

If you applied after 15 January 2018 your application will be processed after 16 April 2018 and an outcome letter sent in due course afterwards. There are no set timescales for outcome letters to be sent.

Not applied yet?

The deadline for on time applications has passed - 15 January 2018. If you have not applied already, you still need to do so online for your child to start primary school in September 2018. This form will be counted as a late application and will be processed after 16 April 2018.

If you live in a different borough to Lambeth, please apply using your home borough's common application form, even if you are applying for a Lambeth school.

If your child has a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) the application form via this page will not be valid. We strongly advise you to apply online. Online applications can be made from 1 September 2017 via the online application portal below. Applying online is:

  • your application won’t get lost in the post
  • drop down school lists help reduce errors and save you time
  • you can attach copies of any medical or social paperwork you wish to be considered. Just submit the application first then click on the ‘attach document’ button
  • this online system is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day until 30 June 2018.

If you can't apply online

There will be a very limited amount of paper forms for applying for a junior school place but these are only families who cannot access the internet.

To send us your completed form:

  • hand it in via appointment at Brixton Customer Service Centre, Civic Centre](/node/3706). Appointments will be required for staff to check items handed in and will last approximately 10 minutes. Most appointments will be available for the same day or the following day.

Proof of address

You must upload the correct proof of address documents to your online application, or hand in via appointment at the Brixton Customer Service Centre otherwise your child’s application may be withdrawn and no offer made at a school. Please refer to the required documents list to ensure you provide what is needed.

Supplementary Information Forms (SIFs)

Some schools ask you to complete a SIF to provide extra information when you apply for a place. You must ensure that you complete these forms where needed and return them to the school by their deadline for the admissions criteria to be looked at fully.

If your child's Common Application Form is submitted after 15 January 2018, you still must complete any SIFs for the schools that require them to ensure that your child's details can be considered fully in accordance with the school's admissions criteria.

Moving house or change of details

The Lambeth School Admissions Team will consider your application using the details you provide on your form.

If you move address you must tell the School Admissions Team of your new address so we are able to contact you if we need more information or to tell you the result of your application. To inform the Team of the new address please complete the Lambeth School Admissions change of address form. Also you will need to provide new proof of address documentation for you and your child.

This also applies if you have a change of medical circumstances or a sibling starts at a preferred school. Please note that changes to preferences after the deadline for on time applications are not permitted.
