With the launch of the council’s Climate Action Plan, setting out the pathway for how we as a borough must become net zero by 2030, the council is committed to supporting Lambeth’s businesses to decarbonise, and support low carbon businesses to grow.

Lambeth’s Climate Action Plan sets out a vision and 20 goals for our borough to become net zero compatible and climate resilient by 2030. Businesses and organisations can sign up to our climate pledge today. You will join a climate partnership group of Lambeth’s employers and community organisations who are taking action to reduce emissions in line with our plan.

Sustainable Ventures
Sustainable Ventures, the largest Climate Tech ecosystem in Europe, is offering a fully funded support programme to start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) registered or trading in the borough. The programme provides six hours of tailored one-to-one business support with the option to cover topics such as fundraising, pitch decks, impact assessment and marketing alongside webinars and peer-to-peer networking.

Businesses can register for the Smart Export Guarantee and receive payment for the surplus energy they generate once installed.
