The Baytree Centre

This project focuses on strengthening resilience and integration among low-income and marginalised residents in Brixton by fostering community connections, developing essential skills, and promoting wellbeing.

It aims to empower residents to actively engage in their community, improve access to local services, and create a safe, inclusive environment.

Key activities include community engagement events, workshops on navigating services, skills development sessions such as CV writing and digital skills, and wellbeing programmes including therapeutic support and health awareness days.

The project also offers volunteer and mentorship opportunities, particularly for women and girls, alongside family-focused activities to support literacy and numeracy.

The initiative aims to reach over 500 participants, enhancing employability for 300, and developing leadership in 150 residents, with continuous monitoring to ensure impact and community responsiveness.
