Papa’s Park

Papa’s Park is working to rebuild Papa’s Park’s community building, a resource housing a hall, café, and toilets, to provide an amenity for the local community.

The project aims to create a safe and welcoming space where people from diverse backgrounds mix and play together, fostering new relationships and strengthening community cohesion.

It will continue to support existing groups through affordable hall rentals and expand its offering to accommodate more diverse activities that address local needs. The building will also support local entrepreneurs by providing spaces for exercise and dance classes, rehearsal areas, baby classes, and other similar initiatives.

The generated revenue will be reinvested to maintain and improve the playground, sports pitch and biodiversity by expanding the community garden.

Papa’s Park aims to create a low-carbon, environmentally friendly building, with solar panels, passive cooling and responsibly sourced materials.
