XLP

XLP works in areas affected by high levels of youth violence, school exclusion, and social inequality, to provide mentoring, education support, mobile youth work, and creative engagement to help young people stay in school and out of gangs.

XLP has received funding to expand its targeted support for disadvantaged young people in Lambeth, where it has long-standing community roots.

This funding will support XLP’s School Exclusion Reduction Programme in City Heights and St Gabriel’s Schools, delivering group mentoring, one-to-one support, literacy and numeracy tutoring, and pre-exam help.

It will also expand mobile youth centre sessions, like the current van project on Angel Town Estate, and enable new partnerships in areas like Tulse Hill.
