Lambeth Council aims to increase canopy cover across the borough and aim to plant 5000 trees between 2022 and 2026. Regrettably though, there are instances where we need to fell trees. Most street trees are felled because they are dead, irreparably damaged (for example by vehicle collisions) or decaying to the point where they are structurally unsound. What is the current status of the proposals?

Following the Council’s decision to proceed with Electric Vehicle Recharging Bay proposals, the statutory consultation commenced on 15 October 2021 and will close on 5 November 2021
