The National Health Service (NHS) needs to decide how services will change and improve over the next 10 years, and NHS England is inviting patients and the public to have their say.

NHS England, the national body which is responsible for the health service in England, has launched a major consultation on what the long term plan for the future of the NHS should be. You can respond online until the 30th of September.

The consultation is wide-ranging and invites responses to general issues, such as what the core values underpinning a long term plan for the NHS should be, but also delves into more detail on specific matters, for example, on how the health and care system can learn from other industries who use digital technology effectively.

You may choose to provide responses for every topic, or just the ones that are important to you or the group you represent. Where possible, they would encourage organisations to collate responses from their members into a single submission.
