Have your say on Lambeth's Revised Draft Local Views Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)

Purpose / Background

The Revised Draft Lambeth Local Views Supplementary Document (SPD) provides guidance on Policy Q25 of the Lambeth Local Plan 2021 which identifies a range of locally important views in order to ensure their effective management. The policy objective is to protect their positive attributes and composition. 

An initial draft of this SPD was published for consultation between 16 November 2020 and 10 January 2021. No significant changes have been made to the revised draft SPD as a result of the consultation responses received. The consultation statement includes all responses received for the first stage.  

The revised draft SPD explains the policy context and provides an explanatory narrative of the value of each view along with guidance on how the view should be managed. The revised draft SPD is in four parts:  

Part 1 – Introduction 

Part 2 – Panoramas 

Part 3 – Landmark Silhouettes  

Part 4 – Roofscape 

We want your views on our Revised Draft Lambeth Local Views Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). 

Your feedback will be reviewed and used to inform any amendments to the revised draft SPD. This will be the last opportunity to comment on the revised draft SPD before it is finalised.  It is anticipated that the final SPD will be adopted in Spring – Summer 2024.
