Have your say on Lambeth's Liveability Commitments
The proposal
Our draft Liveability Commitments set out our commitments to residents living on our regeneration estates.
These draft Liveability Commitments cover residents’ experience of living on their estate while these new homes are being built.
The rebuilding process will take a number of years and we are committed to doing all we can to make sure that residents living on these estates get the right support, are able to continue living on their estates throughout the rebuilding process, and that these estates remain good places to live throughout.
The commitments cover things like investment in the current homes, especially when they may be in the later phase of the rebuilding programme, keeping the estates safe and accessible, and the steps we will take to minimise the impact of the construction on our residents.
Our Key Guarantees, which can be found here – set out our commitments in relation to residents’ rights around rehousing and moving into their new homes.
Next steps
Residents’ views will be analysed and published along with the resulting final version of the Liveability Commitments. The commitments will then be promoted to all residents living on our regeneration estates.
