Open date: Friday, 11 February 2022 at 10.00am Close date: Sunday, 13 March 2022 at 11.59pm Type: Consultation

Please note this consultation is closed

Background

The SPD is being prepared to support implementation of Policy ED2 of the Lambeth Local Plan, adopted in September 2021. It sets out additional guidance about how affordable workspace will be secured from larger office developments in parts of the borough.

Purpose

We are consulting on this draft SPD as part of a two-stage process. We consulted on a first draft of the SPD in 2020, before the Local Plan was adopted.  We have used your feedback and the final adopted Local Plan policy to review and amend it. We are now consulting on the Revised Draft to give a second opportunity to comment before the SPD is finalised.  We are also publishing a consultation statement, so you can see what people said in response to the first round of consultation and how that has been considered. It is anticipated that the final SPD will be considered for adoption in spring 2022.

We want to hear from all relevant stakeholders including local residents, landowners, developers and users and occupiers of workspace within Lambeth.
