We are currently seeking representations on the submission version of the South Bank and Waterloo Neighbourhood Plan from 8 November 2018 to 20 December 2018.
South Bank and Waterloo Neighbours (SoWN) submitted their Draft Neighbourhood Plan to Lambeth and Southwark on 19 June 2018.
Both authorities have considered the legal compliance of the submitted documents and made a decision to proceed to publication and examination. View the Lambeth decision taken on 18 October 2018.
Lambeth and Southwark councils are now seeking representations on the plan in accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended) before it is submitted to an independent examination.
The draft plan contains policies under the following headings:
- Green infrastructure
- Open space
- Air quality
- Housing
- Development management
- Retail and work
- Social infrastructure and culture
- Streetscape and transport
- Planning gain and mitigation
If ’made’ (adopted) following examination and referendum, the plan will be used in determining planning applications in the designated South Bank and Waterloo Neighbourhood Area.
Further information on neighbourhood planning in Lambeth is available in our neighbourhood planning guide.
