Warm Homes Grant

Grants available to improve the energy efficiency of private homes in Lambeth.

Local Grants are funds available to eligible homeowners and private tenants to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.

The funding comes from the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and is available to Lambeth households through Warmer Homes London.

This partnership of London councils is working together to get the best deals for its residents.

The grants will help to make homes easier to heat, reduce energy costs and improve indoor air quality. If you are eligible, a home survey will be conducted, and recommendations will be made, such as:

  • wall, loft and underfloor insulation
  • air source heat pumps
  • smart controls
  • solar panels.

To be eligible to apply for the grant, you must be a low-income owner-occupier or tenant of a private landlord in a property with an Energy Performance Certificate of D-G. Other criteria also apply.

We will shortly publish more details on how residents of Lambeth can apply for funding.
