Join Dee for a conversation, a discussion about family memory and identity. His poetry collection, 3000 Miles from Home: Stories My Father and Mother Never Told Me, is a poetic journey between Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Through his reflections, Dee Majek explores the duality of cultural identity, inherited silences, and the unseen histories that shape who we become. His debut poetry collection honours the untold stories of parents and ancestors-stories carried across oceans, generations, and 3,000 miles to finally find their voice.

Dee Majek is a Nigerian-British poet, spoken-word artist, and cultural commentator based in London. He has served as Streatham Festival Poet for several years and has performed widely across the UK.
