Black Men’s Consortium (BMC) International Men’s Day Open Event

The Black Men’s Consortium welcomes you to our open day event for international men’s day.

Come and celebrate and experience how black and brown men have made positive contributions to their communities and how they have improved and taken charge of their social, spiritual, physical and mental health in the daily challenges they face.

 The event will be an opportunity for the wider community to share, listen, interact and be inspired by the diverse experiences of men and how to promote and encourage positive role models, and advocate for a more inclusive society.

●             2.30pm Presentation by BMC Mental Health Wellbeing Programme.

●             2.45pm  Presentation by BMC Weight Management Programme.

●             3.00pm Presentation by Men’s Walk & Talk project via Carers 4 Carers.

●             3.15pm Presentation by 100 Black Men of London.

●             3.30pm Presentation by Manhood Academy Global.

●             3.45pm Men’s Circle. An interactive-participatory debate for men and the wider community to share their concerns about the things that are  important to them, listen to others with lived experience and collectively produce an action plan. This moves on into the next activity:

●             4.30pm Co-Designing a Humanifesto - members of the community participate to create this document

●             5.15pm Closing circle/celebration activity/networking
