Christmas is coming... and Friends of Brixton Library (FoBL), in collaboration with Brixton Library, are delighted to celebrate 'A Brixton Christmas' with library users and the Brixton community.

Come and enjoy our festive atmosphere with examples of Brixton Library activities: local poets, singers and musicians, the Brixton Youth Theatre with 'You are You', and the wonderful Longfield Voices inviting you to a singalong of carols. There will be several workshops, badge making and wreath making; a chance to find the right Christmas pressy at our special Bric-a-Brac stall, offering artworks by local artists. FoBL will assist you at their signposting table, where you can also leave your contact information to join the Friends and help organise such family and community events. Finally, librarians will invite you to Buy a Book at a bargain price… and Join the Library using their QR code. Lots of fun to be had and useful info, and opportunities to be found.

And, not to be missed, Father Christmas will make his grand entry, greeting the audience before settling on this throne in his grotto to welcome the children. Ho, Ho, Ho!
We hope to see you there.
