The Cinema Museum presents a talk by Martin Humphries. Charles Chaplin was brought up in poverty in Kennington, mainly by his mother, a music hall performer till he was 5. We look at some of his homes, including the workhouse (now home to the Museum), and see Chaplin's own home movie of himself revisiting Kennington in the 1950’s.
