As we celebrate Black History Month, this month’s quiz will focus on Jamaican Culture and Heritage. For ages 7+
The children and young people library services will celebrate the contribution and achievements of people of Jamaican heritage through a range of storytelling, talks, quizzes and arts and crafts events and activities. We look at the significance of the Windrush Generation, the contribution of soldiers who fought in the world wars, of nurses to the NHS and the influence of Jamaican music. A reading list of recommended reads will also be available for children and young people.
