Explore the “dead-centre” of Streatham with resident local historian and writer, John Brown. Despite the rebuilds, St Leonard’s church is Streatham’s oldest building and its church, well-preserved medieval crypt and  churchyard provide a rich history of many of its long-departed residents. Possibly not for the squeamish.

Limited numbers and steep spiral stairs.
